What our Employees are Saying
Thomas Thompson has logged thousands of miles and more than four decades working as a truck driver for APC Forest Products.
He started with the company in its very beginning when it was located in Town Creek, Alabama. When the business moved 17 miles away to Muscle Shoals, Thompson didn’t miss a beat. Or a load of custom-made wooden pallets.
“My dad told me to get a job and stick with it, so that’s what I did,” Thompson said. “I like it because I know what I’m doing and it’s a good job.”
Eddie White joined the APC Forest Products team in May 2016 after a friend suggested he apply for a position with the wooden pallet and crate manufacturer.
“He told me it was a good place to work,” White said. “He was right. Everybody works to stay safe here. I like it. We watch out for each other at all times.”
White’s duties require him to stay focused as he maneuvers large pieces of lumber into a seven head saw that cuts wood down into smaller sizes to ultimately create packaging that’s shipped to points across northern Alabama and beyond.
